Jan Poerschmann is founder and managing partner at Proventis GmbH.

He has lead, structured and closed more than 30 finance and M&A deals for medium-sized companies. His industry focus is on media, travel, services and life sciences. He is specialized on private equity and venture capital transactions. 

Prior to Proventis he has been member of the board at a captive VC fund for two years. From 1995  to 1999 he gained profound industrial expertise at the 3M Company in the areas of business development, marketing and sales.

He is a graduate from European Business School, Oestrich-Winkel, with a major in corporate development and marketing and with international experience in the USA, Great Britain and Argentina.
